Contraindications & Treatment Eligibility
All treatments are subject to professional assessment and clinical judgement. Treatment will proceed only where it is considered safe, appropriate, and within scope of practice.
Treatment Will Not Proceed If:
The client presents with acute illness, fever, or active infection
There is suspected or confirmed thrombosis, embolism, or uncontrolled oedema
There is acute inflammation, severe pain of unknown origin, or recent trauma
There are open wounds, active skin infections, or contagious skin conditions
The client is under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed substances
Relevant medical information has not been fully disclosed
Medical Clearance Required
Treatment may proceed only following assessment and, where required, medical clearance if the client:
Is undergoing or has recently undergone cancer treatment
Is pregnant or in the postnatal period
Has a cardiovascular, neurological, autoimmune, or systemic condition
Has recently had surgery or medical procedures
Is taking anticoagulants, steroids, chemotherapy, or other high-risk medication
Has lymphatic, vascular, or circulatory compromise
Clinical Scope
All treatments provided are supportive and complementary therapies. They do not replace medical care and are delivered in accordance with professional training, current clinical guidance, and individual risk assessment.
Client Responsibility
Clients must provide complete, accurate, and up-to-date medical information prior to each session. Any changes in health status must be disclosed immediately. Failure to do so may result in treatment being declined or discontinued.
Right to Refuse Treatment
We reserve the right to refuse, postpone, or modify any treatment at any stage where, in professional judgement, treatment is deemed unsafe, inappropriate, or outside scope of practice, professional competence, or where adequate medical information has not been provided.
Medical Emergency Notice
Treatments provided are not intended for medical emergencies. Clients experiencing acute or worsening symptoms must seek medical advice from their GP, specialist, or emergency services.
